In the grand scheme of things, Seaside Heights took a beating, and we suffered many stressful moments, but we count ourselves and the town among the lucky. It was hard to watch and listen to the meida that was labeling the entire span of RT 35 as ‘Seaside’…The bridge was never washed out (that was Mantoloking), the houses were not covered in sand (that was Ocean Beach), and while the Boardwalk while severly damaged, it was not entirely washed away. We are thrilled with the rebuilding that has happened and while I feel sad moments my children will never know the Seaside that was, but I look forward to building even better memories in the years to come!
